Fun Day Trip at Avilon Zoo

12:46:00 PM

So we had this unexpected trip last April with my husband and Prince. Our son has been bugging us to go to the zoo and see animals. I'm just happy he loves animals and I would really prefer him to request this kind of trip rather than asking us to go to the mall, or timezone. I really want him to explore real things, real life and be familiar with our nature.

Moving on, Avilon Zoo is actually just a few meters away from my grandma's house. We always visit my grandma but we never thought of visiting this place. Nauna pa yung ibang mga zoo's like Zoobic Safari, Paradizoo, Zoori and Ark Avilon Zoo.

If commute naman, you can ride an fx from Cubao, sabihin niyo lang Luvers Montalban, then magpababa kayo sa driver papuntang Avilon Zoo.

So we ate our lunch first to fuel up and magrecharge kasi sabi ni manong guard, sobrang lawak daw nito at hindi lang namen ito malilibot ng 2 hours.

While waiting for our food, we bought a bucket of chicken to feed Arapaima.

After eating our lunch, we started our tour. Paglabas ng canteen, and after a short walk, we saw ducks on the pond.

Then we entered this passage papunta sa mga crocodiles.

Then we headed to turtles.

Then we went to reptiles, lizards and snakes.

After that, we went to farm animals but before that we met a monkey along the way.

Natutuwa lang ako how my son was very close with animals. Well because ako hindi talaga ako mahilig sa animals, or pets but I'm beginning to love them because of my son. Unti-unti ko silang naappreciate.

I love the part where we can feed the animals. You can buy a stick of carrots or corn from the staff which you can easily see at that place.

Picture taking with some of the special animals in this Zoo.

We went down for a while to see the bird show with the other kids. At yung monkey na nameet namen along the way, magshow din pala siya. His name is Shadow.

Almost everyday he remembers him at bigla bigla na lang siyang mag aacting na parang si Shadow.

After the bird show, we went to see more birds.

And wild animals as well. The best part is when we saw the 2 giraffes.

This is a hippopotamus.

Sobrang laki niya talaga.

What I like about Avilon Zoo....

1. The location is so big, kaya naman there are enough space for each of animals.
2. The animals are healthy and they look happy. Some people don't visit zoos because they feel animals are being used to exhibit. But in Avilon Zoo, they looks like being taken care of properly.
Like what I've said, we've been to different zoos at ayun sobrang init niya talaga. Dito sa Avilon, mainit din naman, but most of the times malilim dahil sa mga puno at halaman.
The rest, wala. Malinis, hindi masangsang, hindi mabaho. Kaya naman dun pa lang alam ko na well taken care of talaga ang mga animals.
5. Sobrang daming animals na first time mo lang din makikita ever in your life.

To be honest, sa lahat ng Zoo, eto yung pinakamaganda at pinakasulit na Zoo na napuntahan namen. Not being oa, pero we really enjoyed this trip. Planning to go back again.

Reminder & Tips:
🦒 Bring pack lunch and lots of water. Ang mamahal ng pagkain at water nila.

🦒 You can bring more than 10 person para makaavail ng discount kahit walk-in.
🦒 Mas maganda mag avail ng personal tour guide, because honestly medyo nakakalito yung mga dadaanan.
🦒 Make sure to bring powerbanks, unlike me na nalowbat ang 2 phone kakapicture.

So yeah! There you have it. I hoped you enjoyed my review!
