Join and Discover How Science Can Change The World at the 2-Day Manila Mini Maker Faire

We received a surprise from The Mind Museum and Maker Faire Manila by sending this DIY Kit and unleash our creativity to create a new invention.

Maker Faire is dubbed as "the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth- a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefullness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. It is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do.

In our kit, we were given materials how to make a DIY Star Lamp. My son got so excited to do it since he's into experimenting, so we helped him to create the lamp.

I was amazed how easy to make a DIY Star Lamp which we enjoyed doing it. And here's our output:

It's really cute and I consider this as Prince's first DIY. I am looking for more activities that we can do that is similar to this one. Gladly, I will have a chance to see more inventions, masterpiece and useful creations at the 3rd Mini Maker Faire in Canopy Plaza of The Mind Museum.

In this event, you'll meet over 150 Makers from all over the Philippines as well as from around Asia. This year's Faire highlights environmentally sustainable projects such as solar-powered waste collectors, motorcycles retrofitted with electric engines, products fashioned out of ocean plastic, and so much more! Atendees can also sign up for a variety of FREE and ticketed workshops such as Bokashi mudball making, robotics, paper engineering, 3D design, eco art organic painting and more.

One good news here is this event is for FREE! And if you and you're family is planning to visit The Mind Museum, this is the best time to do that because you'll get their All Day Pass ticket for ₱450 instead of ₱750 which means an all day access to the museum galleries and shows. Invite your families and friends too for this 2 day mind-blowing event and full of new discoveries on June 22-23 at the Canopy Plaza of The Mind Museum. My family will be there so see you there!
